In Claude

Works the same on the web, on desktop and on your phone. Claude's paid plans can add custom connectors; the free plan allows one.

  1. Open Customize, then Connectors.

  2. Press + and choose Add custom connector.

  3. Name it Pinpal Todo and paste the address. Press Add.

  4. Press Connect and sign in.

    With Apple or Google, the same account as in the app.

  5. Ask.

    Try: “Add oat milk to my list.”

In ChatGPT

Custom connectors need a ChatGPT plan that allows them, with developer mode turned on. The menus move now and then; the idea stays the same.

  1. Open Settings, then Apps & Connectors.

    Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode if you have not.

  2. Choose Create to add a connector.

  3. Name it Pinpal Todo, paste the address, choose OAuth.

  4. Sign in with Apple or Google.

    The same account as in the app.

  5. Ask.

    Pick the connector in a chat and try: “Add oat milk to my list.”

In Claude Code and other MCP clients

Any client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP with OAuth connects on its own. In Claude Code, add it from the terminal, then run /mcp to sign in.

  1. Add the server.

  2. Sign in.

    Run /mcp in Claude Code and pick pinpal-todo. Everything else is in the API and MCP reference.
